Sometimes, the line between these two isn't as clear as it appears.
A client approached us with what they believed was a defect. But as I dug deeper, my analysis pointed in a completely different direction — this wasn’t a bug. It was a request for new functionality.
Instead of jumping into execution, I decided to pause.
I gathered evidence, structured the business logic, mapped the impact, and built a data-backed case. Once I was confident in my findings, I initiated the conversation.
It wasn't just about saying "No."
It was about presenting clarity — and showing the “why” behind my conclusion.
After a few collaborative rounds of discussion, the client saw the perspective. We aligned, re-scoped, and moved forward — this time, with mutual understanding and transparency.
🎯 Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.
It's not just about delivery — it's about critical thinking, communication, and building trust through clarity.
